My name is Madison Tira and I am currently a senior at Blue Valley West. I have just completed the Instructor 2020 class with the Teacher Education program at The Center for Advanced Professional Studies (CAPS). Next semester I will be in the Internship class with the Teacher Education program at CAPS. The reason I am interested in education began with my kindergarten teacher. She focused on each student's needs and was there for anyone that needed her. The most important part of teaching to me is recognizing the uniqueness in each student. This can be the most challenging part of teaching because each student has a different learning style, but I anticipate learning about each and every one of my students and adjusting my teaching styles to help them succeed. My after graduation plans are to attend a university in Kansas and major in Elementary Education with a minor in Journalism.
